ARCHIVED: What is Mozilla Thunderbird and where can I get it?

Thunderbird is a graphical email client and newsreader developed by the Mozilla Foundation. The application, available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, includes support for both IMAP and POP email.

You can download Thunderbird at no cost from Mozilla's Thunderbird site. IU students, faculty, and staff can download Thunderbird in both Windows and Mac versions from IUware.
