Student use of Imail and Umail

Your Indiana University email account requirements depend on your student status:

New students: Newly admitted IU students will be required to select either the Imail or Umail system to use for their student email.
Current students: If you are a current student with an existing IU Webmail account, you can choose whether to keep your existing account, or create an Imail or Umail account. You do not have to do anything to keep your existing account. If you want to create an Imail or Umail account, see Imail and Umail.
