At IU, how can I connect to a Video Bridge conference?

To connect to a Video Bridge conference:

By video

  1. From the IU Video Directory, connect to "Video Auto Attendant" or to IP address 156.56.240.9. If you're using XMeeting, connect directly to the IP address.

    Note: XMeeting is not fully supported at IU; see Desktop videoconferencing using XMeeting

  2. Activate the touch tone keypad:

    • Polycom/Tandberg group systems: Press #.
    • Polycom PVX/ViaVideo: Click Controls, and then the Keypad tab.
    • XMeeting: Click Tools, then Remote Control, and then verify that you are in DTMF mode.

  3. Enter the conference code number provided by the meeting organizer, followed by the # key (e.g., for Video Bridge 103, press 103#).

  4. If prompted, enter the security PIN, followed by the # key.

By telephone

  1. Dial the Auto Attendant at 812-856-7060.

  2. Enter the conference code number provided by the meeting organizer, followed by the # key (e.g., for Video Bridge 103, press 103#).

  3. If prompted, enter the security PIN, followed by the # key.
