Reading your Cyrus mail using IU Webmail
Note: This information pertains solely to the current (i.e., production) Webmail interface for Cyrus email accounts at Indiana University. UITS is testing a new version of the Webmail interface; see Information about the Webmail pilot project.
IU Webmail is a web-based interface for reading your mail on the Cyrus system at Indiana University. It provides basic email service through a simple web interface, allowing you to read mail easily from anywhere in the world without having to reconfigure a browser or mail client software. It also allows you to send and open attachments easily from your desktop.
Note: If you are a student who has gotten your IU email account since spring 2008, you are not on the Cyrus system. See Imail basics and Umail basics.
